This comes out to roughly $2 per mile which is what I expected. You can hike the trail for cheaper if you cut out restaurants, booze, and the occasional lavish $90 hotel split 2-6 ways. On the flipside you can spend way more if you succumb to the town vortexes with taking back-to-back Zero-Days filled with restaurant trips and partying.
