Gear Statistics

Finances

  • Food Resupplies: $2066

  • Restaurants: $1190

  • Booze: $540

  • Lodging: $308

  • New Gear: $524 (shoes, cheap replacement phone, new water bags, trek pole tips, etc)

  • Total: $4628

This comes out to roughly $2 per mile which is what I expected. You can hike the trail for cheaper if you cut out restaurants, booze, and the occasional lavish $90 hotel split 2-6 ways. On the flipside you can spend way more if you succumb to the town vortexes with taking back-to-back Zero-Days filled with restaurant trips and partying.

Cadillac Mountain Sunrise, as much as the clouds permitted

Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse Sunrise, again a little cloudy

Rockland Breakwater Sunset, SPECTACULAR lightshow!

I will make a separate post of my travels home (Bar Harbor, Acadia NP, Maine Coastline, and Philadelphia)
