The trail drops down to Berthound Pass and then back up Mount Flora and across the snow-dusted ridge seen in this photo. The alternate route summits Mount Flora, Mount Eva, Parry Peak, and Mount Bancroft before reconnecting to the CDT on James Peak. All five are 13’ers!
